Small, still voice inside me.

When all I can see are my failures,

You saw the full potential in me.

When all I can see are my life's miseries,

You started telling me of Your promises for me.

When all I want to do is run away, 

You keep on telling me to face these giants.

When all I want to do is quit,

You keep on telling me to go on.

When I'm feeling so hopeless,

You said, 'I am your great help'.

When all my strength is gone and I'm feeling weak,

You said that Your mighty hands are holding me.

When my heart is deeply troubled,

You said, 'Take heart, I have overcome the world'.

When all I want to do is hate the world,

You reminded me of the cross, of what You've done for humanity.

You are the small, still voice inside of me 

That clears out all the lies thrown at me.

You taught me how to dance in the rhythm of Your grace,

How to be still amidst all the troubles.

You taught me how to be brave and persevere,

Enduring patiently everything's ahead of me.

You taught me how to love the people around me

Just as how you have love me.

Oh God, you never fail to put a smile on my face.

Reminding me again and again, that I am your child.

That no matter what season I will be in,

You are with me because you love me.
